Description/Agenda: PUBLIC NOTICE VERNAL CITY ORDINANCE NO 2025-32 ADOPTED Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 2025-32, an ordinance of Vernal City adopting the Uintah Basin Region Multi-Jurisdictional All Hazard Mitigation Plan was passed and adopted November 19, 2025 in a regular City Council Meeting. By adopting this plan, Vernal City formally participates in a regional effort to identify natural hazards, reduce long-term risks to people and property, and guide future hazard mitigation and disaster preparedness planning. Adoption of the plan demonstrates the City's commitment to proactive hazard mitigation and helps maintain eligibility for state and federal disaster mitigation funding. The ordinance takes effect immediately upon adoption and posting, as provided by law. A copy of the ordinance is on file and available for public inspection at the Vernal City Recorder's Office during regular business hours. Published on the Public Notice Website December 19, 2025.
