Description/Agenda: PUBLIC NOTICE VERNAL CITY ORDINANCE NO 2025-26 ADOPTED Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 2025-26, an ordinance amending the Vernal City Municipal Code 05.04.420 Violation A Misdemeanor - Creation of a Public Nuisance was passed and adopted September 17, 2025 in a regular City Council Meeting. he ordinance clarifies enforcement provisions by establishing misdemeanor penalties for violations, defining when ongoing violations constitute a public nuisance, and authorizing abatement and enforcement actions when violations are not corrected. These amendments strengthen the City's ability to enforce business licensing requirements and protect the health, safety, and welfare of Vernal residents. The ordinance takes effect immediately upon adoption and posting, as provided by law. A copy of the ordinance is on file and available for public inspection at the Vernal City Recorder's Office during regular business hours. Published on the Public Notice Website December 19, 2025.
