PUBLIC NOTICE
VERNAL CITY ORDINANCE NO 2025-25 ADOPTED
Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 2025-25, an ordinance amending the Vernal
City Municipal Planning and Zoning Code 16.16.30 Area Regulations for PRUD was
passed and adopted September 17, 2025 in a regular City Council Meeting.
The ordinance updates minimum acreage requirements and maximum residential density
standards for PRUDs in various zoning districts, aligns the City's code with modern planning
practices, and supports future development objectives outlined in the City's adopted plans.
These amendments are intended to provide clearer development standards and ensure
consistency with Vernal City's zoning framework.
The ordinance takes effect immediately upon adoption and posting, as provided by law. A copy
of the ordinance is on file and available for public inspection at the Vernal City Recorder's Office
during regular business hours.
