PUBLIC NOTICE VERNAL CITY ORDINANCE NO 2025-27 ADOPTED Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 2025-27, an ordinance amending the Vernal City Municipal Code 05.04.180 License Application Contents was passed and adopted September 17, 2025 in a regular City Council Meeting. The ordinance adds ownership disclosure requirements by requiring applicants to identify individuals or entities holding twenty-five percent (25%) or more ownership interest in a business. These disclosures are to be maintained as part of the official business license record and updated upon any change in ownership. The amendments are intended to improve transparency, accountability, and effective administration of business licensing within Vernal City. The ordinance takes effect immediately upon adoption and posting, as provided by law. A copy of the ordinance is on file and available for public inspection at the Vernal City Recorder's Office during regular business hours. Published on the Public Notice Website December 19, 2025.
