- PUBLIC NOTICE VERNAL CITY ORDINANCE NO 2025-24 ADOPTED Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 2025-024, an ordinance of Vernal City adopting the Water Use and Preservation Element as an element of the Vernal City General Plan, was passed and adopted by the Vernal City Council on November 19, 2025. Ordinance No. 2025-024 adopts the Vernal City Water Use and Preservation Element as an official element of the Vernal City General Plan. The ordinance aligns the City's long-term land use planning with state water conservation and management requirements by evaluating existing water supplies, projected demand, conservation strategies, and future infrastructure needs. The adopted element will serve as an advisory guide for future policy decisions related to water use, conservation, infrastructure planning, and responsible growth within Vernal City. The ordinance takes effect immediately upon adoption and posting, as provided by law. A copy of the ordinance is on file and available for public inspection at the Vernal City Recorder's Office during regular business hours. Published on the Public Notice Website December 19, 2025.
