PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that a vacancy has occurred in the Ferron City Council. Per Utah Code ยง 20A-1-510, a vacancy is required to be filled by appointment by the city council. The term length for the appointment will be until December 31,2027.
This vacancy will be filled during the Ferron City Council Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Ferron City Hall located at 20 East Main Street, Ferron, Utah.
Anyone interested may submit a letter of consideration to the City Recorder during regular business hours on or before January 13, 2026, no later than 5:00 p.m. The person appointed to fill the vacancy must meet the qualifications for office such as being a registered voter and must of lived within the city limits of Ferron for at least 12 consecutive months.
