Public Notice is hereby given that that 2026 Annual Meeting Schedule of the Racial Equity in Policing Commission of Salt Lake City, Utah, shall be as follows: The Racial Equity in Policing Commission holds meetings on the second Thursday of every other month. These meetings are typically held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - January 8th, 2026 - March 12th, 2026 - May 14th, 2026 - July - Commission Retreat to be held sometime in summer based on Commission members availability. - September 10th, 2026 - November 12th, 2026 Meetings are currently being held in Hybrid 1 status, meaning the public can attend only in person at the City and County Building, 451 S State St., Salt Lake City, Utah 84111. All Racial Equity in Policing Commission meetings are open to the public unless closed pursuant to Sections 52-4-204, 52-4-205, and 52-4-206, Utah Code Annotated. Notice of Racial Equity in Policing Commission meetings are given at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting as required by State law. An agenda of each meeting is posted at: - State of Utah Public Notice Website: https://www.utah.gov/pmn/ Meetings may be held or canceled as circumstances may require, subject to applicable public notice requirements. Notice: - People with disabilities may make requests for reasonable accommodation at least three working days before a meeting by emailing ADA@SLC.GOV or calling (801)-535-6235. Accommodation may include alternate formats, interpreters, and other auxiliary aids. - Meetings are held at Salt Lake City and County Building, which provides accessible accommodations.
