4. Public Comment

Requisition #111420250643 submitted November 18, 2025, by Power Superintendent Shane Ward for High Voltage Tree Trimming Work in the amount of $66,000
Background of November 18 Council Meeting:
- Motion to Approve was made by Councilman Russell G. Keisel, seconded by Councilman Cade A. Beck.
- Councilman Beck noted that he would like to review this requisition in advance next year. While the expense is included in the budget under Professional Services, the Council prefers that it still be formally submitted for review as a requisition.
Requested Action: Council acknowledgment/approval of the requisition as presented in the amount of $71,250.00 and not the $66,000 originally presented.
2. Approval of Requisition #20252174 to Firefighter Supply Company for $5,405.92 (50% reimbursed by Fire Department grant) - Fire Chief Sam Draper
b. Adoption of Ordinance 2025-08 - An Ordinance Adopting the 2006 Utah Wildland-Urban Interface Code - Fire Chief Sam Draper
The State of Utah requires municipalities to adopt the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) Code by January 1, 2026, to remain eligible for participation in the Community Wildfire System (CWS), which provides wildfire suppression cost coverage. Ordinance 2025-08 adopts the 2003 IWUIC as amended by the State of Utah (the 2006 Utah WUI Code) and authorizes the creation of the City's WUI Map.
