- IVINS CITY OFFICIAL NOTICE TO SURPLUS CLEAN DIRT FILL Ivins City is accepting letters of interest for purchasing surplus clean dirt fill from Dam #6 of the Red Mountain Dams on the north side of Ivins City. The dirt fill is sediment that has accumulated from flooding and is in the protected portion of the desert tortoise habitat. Therefore it requires the contractor to receive training to meet all requirements imposed by the County habitat administrator per the Habitat Conservation Plan. This may include the provision of a tortoise habitat on site monitor. Letters of interest may be submitted during regular business hours to Ivins City Hall, 85 N Main, Ivins, Utah, and will be accepted until Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. If the City receives interest in the project, a bidding process will follow for those that submit.
