GRANTSVILLE CITY RECORD OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that during its Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, the Grantsville City Council adopted Ordinance 2025-39, amending Grantsville City Land Use and Management Code Chapters 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, 11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19, 21,22,23,24, and 25.
The Ordinance amended the Grantsville City Land Use and Management Code across multiple chapters to clarify administrative authority, update definitions, and improve consistency and enforceability of land use regulations. The changes included clarifying inspection authority by expressly identifying the Community Development Director, Zoning Administrator, and their designees as authorized inspectors. The ordinance also updated and refined numerous definitions throughout the code to improve clarity, align terminology with current practice and state law, correct typographical and formatting issues, and remove outdated or ambiguous language. No new land uses were created, and no existing permitted uses were eliminated; the amendments were intended to be technical, clarifying, and administrative in nature, ensuring clearer interpretation and more efficient application of the City's land use regulations.
