Public Notice is hereby given that pursuant to UCA 77-11d-105, the North Salt Lake Police Department has items which have been taken into custody or otherwise remain unclaimed that are scheduled to be disposed of.
Items scheduled for disposal include: Backpacks, bags, bicycles, scooters, cell phones, credit cards/bank cards, currency, clothing, jewelry, household items, keys, knives, tools, saws, snow blower, welder, lawn trimmers, metal detectors, studio lighting equipment, and other miscellaneous items.
If you have lost property, please contact the North Salt Lake Police Department Evidence Technician at 801-335-8651 to identify or claim your property.
You must show proof of ownership or provide a detailed description of your property. When claiming your property, you must present a government issued photo identification. Property is released by appointment only Monday - Thursday.
All unclaimed property will be disposed of January 5, 2026.
