- ORDINANCE NO. O-57-2025 AN ORDINANCE OF EAGLE MOUNTAIN CITY, UTAH, AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN FOR MODERATE INCOME HOUSING PREAMBLE WHEREAS, on January 3, 2023, Eagle Mountain City amended Chapter 9 of its General Plan to incorporate State-required Moderate Income Housing strategies; and WHEREAS, the Utah Department of Workforce Services identified that the word 'other' was inadvertently omitted from Strategy 5, and requested a correction so the strategy matches the exact wording required by Utah Code ยง 10-9a-403(2)(b)(iii)(W); and WHEREAS, the City's 2025 Moderate Income Housing report was still found to be compliant with State requirements, but the correction is necessary to ensure accuracy and prevent future misinterpretation; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Eagle Mountain City, Utah: 1. The City Council finds that all required notices, public hearings, and other requirements have been completed for the City Council to consider and approve an amendment to the General Plan for Moderate Income Housing, as set forth in Exhibit A. 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its first posting or publication. ADOPTED by the City Council of Eagle Mountain City, Utah, this 2nd day of December, 2025.
