- Tree Program 2026
- Specialty Crop Block Grant: Now - March 8, 2026
- The 2026 Specialty Crop Block Grant (SCBG) is now open through March 8! This grant works to support Utah's specialty crop industry and is open to producers, schools, trade associations, non-profits, farmers markets, farming and ranching co-ops, etc. headquartered in Utah. Potential projects may include a broad range of focus such as improving marketing, research, training, certifications, food safety, pest control, plant health and beyond for specialty crops.
- Invasive Species Mitigation Grant: Now - March 20, 2026
- The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF) is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 Invasive Species Mitigation Weed Control Grant. This program supports projects that target high-priority invasive species and reduce outlier populations across Utah. Eligible applicants include universities, CWMAs, weed boards, agencies, landowners, conservation districts, nonprofits, and other political subdivisions. Awards are available up to $75,000, with projects running July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027. UDAF will be accepting submissions until end of the day on Friday, March 20, 2026.

- Utah Pollinator Habitat Program: Now - April 15, 2026
- The Utah Pollinator Habitat Program is gearing up to open its 2026 application period on March 1, 2026, and will run through April 15, 2026. This program offers grants to help create and expand native pollinator-friendly habitat by providing plants and seeds to landowners, organizations, and agencies across Utah. Whether you're an individual, nonprofit, or business, this is a great chance to support pollinators like bees, butterflies, and other beneficial species while enhancing your landscape.
- LeRay McAllister Working Farm & Ranch Fund: Now - Year-Round
- The LeRay McAllister Working Farm and Ranch Fund supports the preservation of Utah's agricultural lands through conservation easement grants. Eligible applicants include local governments, nonprofit land trusts, tribes, and other eligible entities capable of holding and stewarding perpetual conservation easements.

- Project Description
The overall goal is to improve the on-farm flood irrigation systems, replace existing dirt ditches that are eroding away and losing irrigation water through seepage, and improve crop production by implementing practices to improve farm irrigation systems and conveyance systems over the next 5 years.

Program applications are accepted on a continual basis. However, NRCS establishes application ranking dates for evaluation, ranking and approval of eligible applications. Applications received after the ranking date will be automatically deferred to the next funding period.
