General Notice: Uintah Transportation Special Service District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Redwash Road
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the offices of the Uintah Transportation Special Service District (UTSSD), ATTN: Julie Joy-Hundley located at 152 East 100 North, Vernal, UT 84078, until Monday, December 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: Removal and replacement of approximately 4.6 miles of road including widening of the road and the installation of culverts, retaining walls, guard rails, delineator posts, and signs. Bids will be received for a single contract. However, this project is tied to one (1) other project. Bidder must bid on all items for both projects tied together. Failure to bid on all items for each project will disqualify the Bidder. One Bidder will be selected to construct all of the tied projects. See Specification 00 22 14 for details.
Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $11,500,000. The Project is expected to be completed by November 15, 2026.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. The designated website will be updated with addenda, plan holders list, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated website.

Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated websites and the Issuing Office.
Questions are due in writing to Brooks Jones, Project Engineer, at brooks.j@jonesanddemille.com on or before Wednesday, December 17th by 5:00 PM.
Pre-bid Conference: A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project and associated Tied Project will be held on Monday December 15, 2025 at 1:00 pm local time at Jensen Water Improvement District Offices located at 5950 S 8500 E, Jensen, UT 84035. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
Instructions to Bidders: For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner may reject any or all bids submitted.
