2026 ELECTION NOTICE I, Marla R. Young, Box Elder County Clerk hereby give notice pursuant to Utah Election Code 20A-5-101 of the General Election to be held on Tuesday November 3, 2026. Notice is hereby given of the offices to be filled at the regular General Election along with the corresponding term, filing fee, and filing locations. Notice is given of the Declaration of Candidacy filing period for qualified political party candidates begins on Friday January 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Thursday January 8, 2026, and; The Declaration of Candidacy filing period for state and local school board candidates begins on Friday January 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Thursday January 8, 2026, and; The Declaration of Candidacy filing period for registered political party candidates begins on Friday January 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Monday April 27, 2026; and The Declaration of Candidacy filing period for justices and judges of a court of records begins Wednesday July 01, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday July 15, 2026, and; The Declaration of Intent to Gather Signatures period for qualified political party candidates begins on Thursday January 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Thursday January 8, 2026, and; The Declaration Period for candidates not affiliated with a political party begins on Friday January 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Monday June 15, 2026; and Candidates not affiliated with a political party must submit certificates of nomination no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday June 15, 2026. Candidates must submit nomination petition signatures no later than 14 days before the day on which the qualified political party holds its convention to select candidates for the elective office; and Registered political party candidates must submit nomination petition signatures no later than 5:00 p.m. Tuesday March 31, 2026.
