THE CITY OF WEST JORDAN, UTAH PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The West Jordan Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing to be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at which time input will be received prior to discussion and possible recommendation to the City Council concerning the proposed items: West Jordan Free Standing Emergency Room (FSER); 6170 West 7800 South; Recommendation to the City Council for a Future Land Use Map Amendment for 86.14 acres from Parks, Very Low, Low, and Medium Density Residential, and Community Commercial to the designations of Professional Office (43.84 acres) and Medium Density Residential (42.27 acres) and Rezone from A-20 (Agricultural 20-acre lots) Zone to P-O (Professional Office) Zone; Fulmer Lucas Engineering, LLC/Avery Steed (applicant) Utah Wildland Fire Interface Map; Recommendation to the City Council to adopt the Utah Wildland Fire Interface Map; City of West Jordan Fire Department (applicant) Text Amendment - Street Light Standards; Recommendation to the City Council to Adopt Design and Construction Standards for Street Lighting Section 16500; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) Text Amendment - Variances and Appeals to the Land Use Appeal Authority; Recommendation to the City Council to Amend the West Jordan City Code Title 13-7G-1, 13-7G-2, 15-3-9, 15-3-10, and 15-5-3 Removing the Public Hearing and Public Noticing Requirements for Variances and Appeals to the Land Use Appeal Authority, and making other technical revisions/clarifications; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. The proceedings may be viewed in the following ways: - During the meeting, access to view the live stream is available at https://westjordan.primegov.com/public/portal. - Zoom Webinar - log in information at https://westjordan.primegov.com/public/portal. - Attend in person in the West Jordan City Hall Council Chambers, 8000 South Redwood Road, 3rd Floor, West Jordan, Utah You are invited to attend the Public Hearing and take part in the discussions and voice any support or concerns you may have with the above-mentioned projects. If you want to speak on an item, the time will be limited to 3 minutes or as directed by the Chair. Items may be moved on the agenda or tabled by the Planning Commission. Items not heard will be scheduled on the next agenda. If you have any questions concerning this notice, please contact the West Jordan City Planning and Zoning office at (801) 569-5060. Copies of the agenda packet for this meeting will be available for viewing on the West Jordan website https://westjordan.primegov.com/public/portal. approximately 5 days prior to the meeting.
