IVINS CITY OFFICIAL PUBLIC NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL MID-TERM VACANCY EXPIRING IN JANUARY, 2028 AND APPLICATION PROCESS FOR INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS Please be advised that a mid-term vacancy will exist on the Ivins City Council as of January 5, 2026, with the term expiring in January, 2028. The Ivins City Council will act to fill this vacancy at a meeting to be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 5:30 p.m., at the Ivins City Office, 85 North Main St., Ivins, Utah. On or before December 19, 2025, interested individuals who are qualified by law to serve as a City Council Member shall submit their name, campaign finance statement and conflict of interest disclosure statement to Ivins City Recorder Kari D. Jimenez at 85 North Main Street, Ivins, Utah or via email to kjimenez@ivinsutah.gov and may complete and submit additional materials in the same manner, consisting of an application and written answers to questions identified as Exhibits to Resolution No. 2025-24R provided in the Candidate packets, a statement of interest, a resume, and up to 3 letters of recommendation. No Candidate is required to submit any items of additional information other than their name, campaign finance statement and conflict of interest disclosure statement but submission is highly encouraged so that the City Council will have additional information to consider for each Candidate before the interviews. No other materials will be considered. All materials submitted by Candidates will be public records available with the agenda for the City Council meeting where the Ivins City Council will act to fill the vacancy, except that home addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses will be redacted. Candidate packets are available by request through Ivins City Hall, Ivins City Recorder Kari D. Jimenez per the information above or may be printed off of Ivins City's website: www.ivinsutah.gov and submitted as indicated above. Qualifications to be considered to serve on the Ivins City Council are as follows: - Be a citizen of the United States - Be a registered voter in Ivins City, Utah - Be a resident of Ivins City for the previous twelve (12) months - Not be convicted of a felony, treason, or a crime against the elective franchise, unless and until your right to hold elective office has been restored pursuant to Utah law Kari D.
