SNYDERVILLE BASIN WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON 2026 BUDGET AND PROPOSED WASTEWATER USER FEE INCREASE
The Board of Trustees of the Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing comments on the 2026 Budget and hearing comments on a proposed increase of the monthly Wastewater Volume Charge beginning January 1, 2026 from $3.31 per 1,000 gallons to $3.48 per 1,000 gallons and Wastewater Service Charge from $34.77 to $36.51 per month; and beginning January 1, 2027, to increase the monthly Wastewater Volume Charge to $3.65, and the Wastewater Service Charge to $38.33; and beginning January 1, 2028, to increase the monthly Wastewater Volume Charge to $3.80, and the Wastewater Service Charge to $39.87.
A copy of the proposed resolution adopting the increased fees is available for public inspection at the District office. The increase in fees is proposed to fund the upgrade and operation and maintenance of the East Canyon and Silver Creek Water Reclamation Facilities; to increase renewal and replacement of the collection system; and to meet the ongoing obligations of the District.
