PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Richfield City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the council chambers located at 75 East Center, Richfield, Utah, to consider the adoption of the Utah Wildland Urban Interface Code (UWUIC), including any local amendments, as part of the Richfield City Municipal Code. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public input regarding the proposed adoption of the Utah Wildland Urban Interface Code, which establishes minimum standards for land use, building construction, and defensible space in designated wildland-urban interface areas to reduce the risk of wildfire and improve community safety. A copy of the proposed code adoption and amendments is available for review at: 75 East Center, Richfield, Utah, 84701. All interested persons are invited to attend and provide comment.
