BOARD OF CANVASSERS THE CITY OF BLUFFDALE, UTAH RESOLUTION NO. 2025-75 A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE CANVASS OF THE 2025 CITY OF BLUFFDALE MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION WHEREAS, pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 20A-4-301(2)(a), the Mayor and the Municipal Legislative Body constitutes the Board of Canvassers of the City of Bluffdale; WHEREAS, on August 26, 2025, the Board met to canvass the election returns of the 2025 City of Bluffdale Municipal Primary Election held August 12, 2025; WHEREAS, the election returns for each voting precinct have been received and counted by the Salt Lake County Clerk's Office, Election Division; and WHEREAS, the Board publicly canvassed the returns and determined from them the vote of each voting precinct for each candidate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Canvassers of the City of Bluffdale, Utah, as follows: Section 1. The City Council, as the official Board of Canvassers hereby accepts and approves the attached report entitled 'Official Final Election Results - 2025 Primary Election' for the 2025 City of Bluffdale Municipal Primary Election held August 12, 2025. Section 2. The following candidates are declared to have received the number of votes indicated: City Council Member At Large - Four Year Term Adam Christian 488 Wendy Aston 1133 Mackey Smith 966 Jeffrey Steele 641 Albert Allen Larsen 651 Section 3. The City Council, as the Board of Canvassers, declares 'nominated' the following persons to the municipal office indicated: City Council Member At Large - Four Year Term Wendy Aston Mackey Smith Jeffrey Steele Albert Allen Larsen The City Recorder is authorized and directed to deliver a 'Certificate of Nomination' to the said candidates. Section 4. For purposes of Utah Code Ann. § 20A-4-304, the Certified Report of the Election Results when signed by the election officer and by the members of the Board of Canvassers, shall be filed as indicated below. The City Recorder is authorized and directed to: (i) Record or file the certified report in a book kept for that purpose; (ii) Prepare and transmit a certificate of nomination or election under the officer's seal to each nominated candidate; (iii) Publish a copy of the certified report on the Utah Public Notice Website; Public Body's official website, and post the same in a conspicuous place within the jurisdiction; and (iv) File a copy of the certified report with the Lieutenant Governor. Section 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
