I, CHELISE CURTIS, Duchesne County Clerk Auditor, hereby give notice pursuant to Utah Election Code 20A-5-101; the following offices are expected to be on the ballot for the General Election, which will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

1. the Declaration of Candidacy filing period for qualified political party candidates begins on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2026;
2. the Declaration of Candidacy filing period for local board of education candidates begins on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2026;
3. the Declaration of Candidacy filing period for registered political party candidates begins on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2026;
4. the Declaration of Candidacy filing period for justices and judges of a court of record begins Wednesday, July 1, 2026 and ends at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2026;
5. the Declaration of Intent to Gather Signatures period for qualified political party candidates begins on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2026;
6. qualified political party candidates must submit nomination petition signatures no later than 14 calendar days before the day on which the qualified political party holds its convention to select candidates for the elective office;
7. registered political party candidates must submit nomination petition signatures no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2026;
8. the Declaration of Candidacy filing period for candidates not affiliated with a political party begins on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2026; and
9. candidates not affiliated with a political party must submit certificates of nomination no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2026.
