PUBLIC NOTICE
FINAL ELECTION RESULTS!
On November 18, 2025, the City Council held a special session to certify the results of the November 4, 2025, General Election.
Those elected to office are:
Mayor - Zack Stratton
Councilmembers - David Lauret, Parker McCumber, and Jacob Wood.
In accordance with state code 10-3-201(2), they will take office on January 5, 2026, at 12 o'clock noon.
CASTING OF LOTS
On June 26, 2024, the Vineyard City Council voted to put a change in government to a vote of the people. At an election held on November 5, 2024, Vineyard Residents approved a change in government from a five-member council to a six-member council. As a result of the change in government and in accordance with Utah State Code 10-3b-606, those three (3) Council members were to be elected to office. Also, in accordance with Utah State Code 10-3b-6-606(4) of those three (3) Council members, one is to serve a two-year term, which is to be chosen by lot. This was done at the November 18, 2025, City Council Special Session. Parker McCumber drew the 2-year seat. David Lauret and Jacob Wood will retain the 4-year seat.
