Community Input:
Culinary Water:
Browns Hill was out again readjusting from the additional sensors. We have replaced all of the mother board switches in the plant which seems to be making things run smoother. Charles and Curtis are going through everything. Browns Hill is going to give us a quote to upgrade the whole system. We will see how much it will cost and then go start looking for money. It will take another few weeks to complete the quote. Powell doesn't even want to make a guess at what things would cost with price increases these days.
Simpson feels that the board may need to realistically look at a rate increase that would more fully fund the process
Powell still feels that there is no way to increase the rate enough to be able to afford the system on revenue alone.
Unfinished Business:
Water Meter Applications:
Meter Report:
Meters are mostly back on line and in good shape. There are only 4-5 more that need to be replaced.
Bills to Pay: See Treasures Report
Simpson questioned the price of water testing samples. The last samples were all of the lead and coppers which is why it cost so much more. Powell is worried that we are going to have a problem submitting samples on time because of shipping issues
Hart motions to pay the bills as presented
Yearus seconds the motion
Passes unanimously
Other: None
