- 2025 NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL VACANCY (UCA 20A-1-510) Highland City announces a vacancy in the office of City Council created by the resignation of Council Member Brittney P. Bills. This Council seat will be for the term of December 11, 2026 - January 2028. The City Council will fill this vacancy at a special meeting to be held on the following date: Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 6:00 pm Highland City Hall 5400 W Civic Center Dr, Highland, UT 84003 Any qualified person interested in being considered for appointment to the position of City Council may submit their application, conflict of interest disclosure statement, and $35.00 filing fee to Stephannie Cottle, City Recorder. Applications must be accepted in person, during regular business hours (Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm), no later than Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 6:00 pm. The application and conflict of interest disclosure statement can be found on the City's website (www.highlandut.gov) or at the city office building located at 5400 W. Civic Center Dr, Highland, UT.
