Values Learning, Influence, Quality Programming, Enjoyment Items for Discussion City Business - (Diana Anderson): Director Business (Sheri Britsch/Stacy Martineau): Chairperson Business (Brian Fogelberg): Need to schedule program heads to come in 2026 Planning and Goals // Review Roles and Subcommittees Program Reports and Discussions: Strawberry Days Art Competition Resurrect Quick Draw - Donate art, part of the cause - Tie into something already there - Maybe something at Storybook Square Writing competition - Design covers Concerts in the Park Very positive feedback this year Good groups Jace is taking it over next year Film Festival Participation was happy and satisfied Theme & prop limits people Rethinking for next year More time to get the videos put together Russ Mayo - a high school teacher who does monthly challenges City Events Heritage Festival - Melodrama - September 8th 5:00 Tina is control Script 5:20 Kirk is performing - Rehearsal on Sept 6th - Downtown park Summerbration - need to do a better job advertising ourselves - Branded table about what we do. Adults talking while kids are crafting Viking Days - October 11th - we are passing Haunt on Main - October 30th - 6:00ish - Apple cider - Variety show (~30mins) 3-4 tap dancers Storytelling K-pop demon hunters (choreography) Taste of the Arts Stacy new lead November 8th - How to Photo Edit Stained glass moves to next year January 10th - Art of Procreate Songwriter Competition Posters printed, website updated Kick-off September 1st Brady to contact Library for email newsletter Upstairs ballroom at the Ruth Four workshops October 15th deadline to announce finalists November 1st - Workshops (at 2:00) then showcase at 7:00 Working on one-sheet for sponsors Open Mic Night Sub-Committee Reports and Discussions: Marketing Start layering advertising (3mo+ in advance let people know what's coming) Push with Sierra on getting on the website and calendar Jace is making a website New canopy for the tent - New name badges - Buy your own shirt, then embroider - Lawn signs - Pull-ups indoor only or sturdy options - Grommet sign - Step and repeat banner (grommet or magnetic hooks) - Tablecloths with logo - Stickers Brand sheet Equipment Same list to vote on next month Membership: Onboarding program: Welcome binders with bylaws, roles and responsibilities, detailed program overviews, resources, and access Tina taking binders working with Brian on documents Partnership and Sponsored Organizations Reports and Discussions: The Ruth Contract and terms for the gallery hall, Ruth first 2x a year art show - Major concerns: Quality of the artwork Ruth wants a buy-off on artwork displayed Options to work with other organizations with buy-off from us - Provide money up-front to pay off dry wall - First show in January Tradition Send out a call for artists Jenny Paige, Janna Parkin, Lindy Mott, Robert Oscarson Media releases, Ruth is taking commissions, and Ruth is researching their insurance policy 2D art exclusively - Will need a program lead PG Players Needs a new ticket manager - Marjorie Mann Missing a board chair - Currently rotating who runs the meeting amongst themselves - Needs a non-theater person to fill the roles - Going to see how this runs, an invitation to join the board Kirk is taking over as program lead PG Orchestra Brian taking over Utah Children's Choir Budget Requests Discussion and Vote: $500 - Songwriter Competition: Poster prints, judge gift baskets, finalist chocolates, water / snacks, volunteer dinners
