Seiko Webb opened the meeting.
Raymond Frandsen said that when Paul Webb went to pick up the new door to replace the garage doors that it was broken during shipment so they are going to be getting a new one sent.
The new playground equipment that was delivered under the warranty will be replaced in the spring. Paul Webb is going to store them in either the shed or garage during the winter.
The sprinklers have been winterized. The flags were left up for the car show and will be put up next for Election Day and Veteran's Day. Paul and Seiko Webb are going to start working on getting the Christmas decorations out to make sure the lights work and try out the new solar lights.
Allie Deru is going to contact Rocky Mountain Power about a wire sticking out of a power pole near Raymond Frandsen's house to see if they can get out here to fix it so that no one gets injured.
Monika Schulthess is going to contact Tyler Seamons about potentially condemning a house that is unlivable or not safe and figure out what the town is responsible for in a situation like that.
Everything has been transferred to QuickBooks Online.
Joel Marler made a motion to approve September minutes. Raymond Frandsen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Joel Marler made a motion to approve the October bills. Monika Schulthess seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
J-Bar Auto installed a new water line on the town side and used their vac truck to dig out the water line by the store to figure out what was going on with the sprinklers that water the trees along Main.
The Coke company is going to pick up the old Coke machine that has been in front of the town hall.
Scott Sabey went to the meeting to present our grant for the Tourism Board. He said that it went well and will hopefully get some money to install a new playground set.
The bleachers at the rodeo grounds really need to be fixed. The board thought it would be a good idea to find some sort of grant that could help us improve those or get new ones.
Allie Deru got a contact number for someone who could maybe help the town get some flashing speed limit signs. The board really wants to get something to hopefully slow people down through town whether it is a flashing speed limit sign or some sort of random object that could catch people's attention as they come through town.
Birds like to make nests in the pavilion at the rodeo arena. Allie Deru will order some tack strips to place on the beams across the top to hopefully keep them away.
Paul Webb is going to get a lock for the door where the cleaning supplies are kept so that none of the Glade refills are taken when people rent the town hall.
Jason Chandler wants to fix a part of the road that is by his driveway. He said he would donate a culvert if the town would get dirt in there to build the ramp up more. The old road that leads up that way is blocked by Huffakers' stuff. There was a debate whether the road should be fixed or if the old road needs to be cleared so that those going up to check water, etc. can use that road instead of going by Jason's driveway. Monika Schulthess is going to talk to Stetson Huffaker about moving his stuff off of the old road because it is technically a town right-a-way. Joel Marler also needs the area in front of his house fixed to help with flooding purposes. The town could potentially bring in some dirt/gravel/whatever is decided would be best to fix both Jason and Joel's driveways. The town board is going to discuss what would be best and get the issue figured out.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
