Highland City 5400 West Civic Center Drive ~ Suite 1 Highland, UT 84003 Phone 756-5751 | Fax 756-6903 NOTICE OF HIGHLAND CITY INTENT TO REVIEW AND ADOPT A COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT/REVISION AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE AMENDMENT/REVISION The Highland Planning Commission, on October 28, 2025, made a recommendation to the Highland City Council regarding a comprehensive general plan amendment that will replace and supersede the City's current general plan. The amended plan will affect all areas within the municipal boundaries of Highland City and those areas of unincorporated Utah County designated for potential annexation within Highland City's annexation policy plan. PUBLIC MEETING AND INITIAL CONSIDERATION OF RECOMMENDED PLAN: The City Council will hold a public meeting on November 18, 2025, beginning at 6:00 PM, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr., Highland, UT, to consider the recommended comprehensive general plan amendment. PUBLIC HEARING AND ADOPTION: The City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the comprehensive general plan amendment and potentially adopt the amendment, which will replace and supersede the City's current general plan, during the public meeting on December 2, 2025, which begins at 6:00 PM, held in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr., Highland, UT Residents, affected entities, and other interested parties are invited to provide information and comments for Highland City to consider regarding the proposed comprehensive general plan amendment. The recommended comprehensive general plan amendment and information related to the amendment is available on the City's website, highlandut.gov. Please contact Rob Patterson, Highland City planner, to obtain more information, to submit information or comments, or to request special accommodation to participate in the meetings at (801) 772-4506, rpatterson@highlandut.gov, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
