As per State Code 10-9a-203, Salt Lake City is providing this notice regarding Salt Lake City's intent to update the Capitol Hill Community Plan.
The area affected is generally bound by North Temple Street on the south, I-15 on the west, City Creek Canyon on the east, and the northern boundary of the city itself. The plan area is approximately 7.24 square miles or 4,633 acres in size.
The plan will provide a vision for Capitol Hill area for the next 15 years and align with the Citywide General Plan, Plan Salt Lake.
The City seeks information to consider in the process of preparing, adopting, and implementing the proposed general plan, including, but not limited to:
(i) impacts that the use of land proposed in the proposed general plan may have; and
(ii) uses of land within the City that affected entities are considering that may conflict with the proposed general plan. The City is in the initial outreach stage in developing the general plan and no specific land use plans have been proposed at this time.
