EMIGRATION CANYON COUNCIL
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Utah Code Title 17, Chapter 41, Section 302, notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held in the Emigration Canyon Fire Station located at 5025 E. Emigration Canyon Road, Salt Lake City, UT 84108 during the City Council Meeting on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 7:00 pm MST.
The purpose of the hearing is to hear public comment on and review:
- The proposal to create the agricultural protection area;
- The recommendations of the Salt Lake County Advisory Committee and Emigration Canyon Planning Commission;
- Any requests for modification of the proposal and any objections to the proposal.
At the date and time fixed for the public hearing all who appear will be given an opportunity to express their views on subject above. Please note that the City Council has had the opportunity to review the previously submitted public comments that were submitted to the Planning Commission, and those comments have been heard.
PARKING REMINDERS - We encourage those attending to park along Emigration Oaks Road, just above the Fire Station. If parking on the main canyon road, your vehicle must fit COMPLETELY within the white fog lines.
