Description/Agenda

Emery County General Plan To meet the Resource Management Plan requirements of the State of Utah, Emery County has incorporated additional resource topics within the resource management section of its General Plan. Minor modifications have also been made to update outdated information and to integrate the Economic Development Plan by reference. These changes can be viewed at the Emery County website www.emery.utah.gov or at the Clerk/Auditors office. The resource policies were developed using input from public surveys earlier this year. The Planning Commission will consider recommending these changes to the County Commission on November 12, 2025 at 1PM at the regularly scheduled meeting at the county building. Comments can be submitted via email to jimj@emery.utah.gov prior to the meeting or shared directly with the Planning Commission during the public comment agenda item.
