Salem City 2025 General Election
November 4, 2025 (Election Day) 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Salem City's General Election Information. Salem City has contracted with Utah County to oversee the elections. Elections will be vote by mail. Ballots were mailed out the week of October 14, 2025. A sample ballot has been included for you to review (Do Not use the sample ballot to vote). You can find out information on each of the candidates by going to the Salem City Web Page (www.salemutah.gov), under city government and under elections. You can also view their contact information under their declaration of candidacy, if you would like to contact them.
Items to remember:
- Ballots Mailed week of October 14, 2025
- General Election is Tuesday, November 4, 2025 (7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
- Ballots can be dropped off at any of the Utah County Ballot Drop Boxes. There is one located at the Salem City Library Parking Lot (59 South Main), or you can go to the Utah County Election Web page to find other election drop boxes locations.
- Ballots can be returned through US Postal Mail. If you choose this option, we ask that voters place a stamp on the envelope before mailing it. Voters should mail ballots back early to ensure timely receipt by the Elections Office. Under new state law, all ballots must be in the possession of our office by close of polls on election day to be counted. We can no longer rely on a USPS postmark to determine whether a ballot is timely.
