Description/Agenda

A public hearing of the Southeastern Utah Regional Development Agency will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 252 South Fairgrounds Road, Price, Utah 84501, beginning at 12:30 pm, or soon thereafter, to consider an application for funding to the Permanent Community Impact Fund Board of the State of Utah. This project is for the feasibility study and possible development of a deep-water port for the purpose of coal exports from Utah. The funding requested is in the amount of $50,582,800.00. The actual funding offered by the CIB may be different than that requested. The public is invited to offer comments on the project at the public hearing. Any questions regarding the submission of this application for this project should be directed to Jade Powell, Deputy Director, 435-613-0022..
