SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL SYNOPSIS OF SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE 59 of 2025 The Salt Lake City Council, at its October 7, 2025, meeting adopted an ordinance that vacated a portion of City-owned alley between approximately 1430 East and 1500 East, and between 1300 South and Sherman Avenue. The alley segment was not utilized for access by any abutting property and was obstructed at multiple points. Located within Council District 6. Petitioner: Philip Wilkes, adjacent property owner.
