PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of Vacancy - Kane County Water Conservancy District Notice is hereby given that the Kane County Water Conservancy District's Board of Trustees is looking to fill three (3) vacant positions. The term for these positions will expire 12/31/2029. Each subsequent term will be 4 years in length. Applicants wishing to apply for these positions must be a registered voter within the District and will be the director representing one of the following areas. One (1) Division 1: Virgin River Drainage Division, including applicants from the Long Valley and Cedar Mountain areas. One (1) Division 2: Kanab Creek Drainage, including Kanab City. One (1) Division 3: Johnson Wash Drainage, including applicants from Johnson Canyon, the Johnson Creek Drainage Area, and Johnson Canyon Culinary Water System. Anyone interested in filling these positions may submit a signed letter of intent and a brief resume to the following address: Kane County Commission c/o Morgan Shakespear 76 N Main Street, Kanab, UT 84741 Hand delivered letters may be dropped off in the Clerk's Office at the Kane County Admin Building. Applicants will be interviewed by the commissioner assigned as a liaison to the district, who will then make a recommendation for appointment to the full County Commission.
