Description/Agenda

Sealed bids will be received by River Heights City for the: ORCHARD DRIVE STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT The project generally includes the installation and construction of approximately 530 linear feet of new 12' HDPE stormwater line and street repair from approximately 935 E Orchard Drive to 1000 E and then south to 347 S on 1000 E. The improvements will connect to an existing sump, including the installation of inlet boxes, a bubble-up box, and appurtenant miscellaneous items. Bids will be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Forsgren Associates (435) 227-0333. Copies of the Contract Documents will be available on October 16, 2025, at the office of the Engineer located at 95 West 100 South, Suite 115, Logan, Utah 84321. Digital 'pdf' copies of the Contract Documents will also be available by contacting Forsgren Associates. Please address questions on the project to Craig Rasmussen at the above phone number or by email at crasmussen@forsgren.com. A pre-bid tour will not be held, it is the Contractor's responsibility to walk the project and become familiar with the conditions of the project site. Bids will be received at the office of the Engineer, located at 95 West 100 South, Suite 115, Logan, UT 84321 until the hour of 2:00 pm (local time) on Wednesday, October 30, 2025 at which time they will be opened and read aloud in said office. Bid security, which must be on the Bid Bond form provided with the Construction Documents or on approved Bid Bond documents provided by the Bonding Agency, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to River Heights City, shall accompany the bid. A certified or cashier's check may be used for the bid bond. River Heights City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid.
