Box 240 Stockton, Utah 84071 Phone: (435) 882-3877 Notice is given that the Stockton Town Council will hold a regular meeting as identified below in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk at (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The order of Agenda Items may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Mayor or Town Council. Time limits, if any listed for Agenda items are approximate and may be accelerated or delayed. Approval of June 2025 meeting minutes Motion Shyla, 2nd Joe all in favor 6. 7. Department Reports: a. Sheriffs Report 12 total details, 13 citations, 1 significant incident, homeless camps have been an issue in the county b. Stockton Fire Dept-including donation of 1989 Ford to Rush Valley Fire Dept- 29 calls- picked up one more member this month. Approval to donate truck to Rush valley, All Approved c. Planning and Zoning Report- no report d. Mayors Report - including Cemetery discussion, Ground penetrating radar /survey. Ace recycling is destroying towns garbage cans, sent letter and waiting for response e. Recreation f. Roads and Grounds g. Solid Waste h. Water i. Sewer 8. Contract with Rocky Mountain Power resolution 2025-15- Motion 2nd Joe all approve 9. dump truck purchase discussion- town is looking for a new dump truck to salt the roads. 10. Storage container discussion- will look for one to purchase for ballpark 11. Close Public Meeting Motion Joe 2nd Shyla All Approve 7:38pm 12. Motion to move into executive session if needed open closed session 7:39 Executive session: Pursuant to one or more provisions of the Open and Public Meetings Act: a. Discussion of character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; b. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining; c. Strategy session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; d. Strategy session to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property including water rights or water shares; e. Strategy session to discuss the sale of real property, including water rights or shares; f. Discussion regarding deployment of security personnel, devises, or systems; g. investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct; and/or h. Discussion of protected procurement issues, including protected trade secrets. 13. Council Report- Property has collected junk cars, having sheriff issue citation for ordinance violation 15.
