- We need your input! Join us for Salt Lake County Housing & Community Development's Exploring Community Needs Open House and Public Hearing Date: Thursday, October 16, 2025 Time: Come anytime from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Location: West Valley City Multipurpose Room 3600 South Constitution Blvd., West Valley City, UT 84119 Salt Lake County Housing & Community Development is hosting an open house and public hearing to gather input from residents, community groups, and partners on local housing, community development, and public service needs. Your feedback will help shape how federal funds from the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) are used to strengthen neighborhoods, expand affordable housing, and support vital services. Join your neighbors, local government officials, and housing and community development professionals for this interactive event. All Salt Lake County residents are welcome, including children! The meeting will include a brief presentation, fun activities to identify the needs in your neighborhood and community, and plenty of time for snacks and conversations. If you have questions about the event, please contact Jennifer Jimenez at jjimenez@saltlakecounty.gov.
