NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bluff Town Council and Bluff Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Special Meeting of the Governing Bodies for a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, starting at 5:00 pm at the Bluff Community Center, 190 N 3rd E Street, Bluff, UT, 84512.
The purpose of the hearing will be to receive comments from the public regarding amendments or dissolution of the LAND USE CLEARANCE ORDINANCE. After the creation of the building department in early 2025, multiple processes from the Land Use Clearance ordinance and process are now evaluated and carried out by the Bluff Building Department, as opposed to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Additionally, sections of the ordinance reference San Juan County Building Department, who is no longer part of the approval process. A copy of the drafted changes, as well as additional meeting details can be found at www.townofbluffutah.gov/public-notices.
Written comments may be submitted to the Town of Bluff, P.O. Box 324, Bluff, Utah, 84512, or emailed to office@townofbluffutah.gov until Friday, November 7th at 5:00 pm.
