OQUIRRH RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE OQUIRRH RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT FOR THE WITHDRAWAL OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE DISTRICT'S BOUNDARIES, AND PROVIDING FOR MATTERS RELATED THERETO. The Oquirrh Recreation and Parks District (the 'District') is holding a Public Notice regarding the withdrawal of certain real properties located within the District's Boundaries. A description of Parcels two and three are as follows (detailed legal descriptions can be found in Resolution 2025-004 at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center located at 5624 S Cougar Ln, Kearns, Utah or by vising https://oquirrhrec.gov/resolution2025-004 ). PARCEL 2 (two): The property in the East of 2700 W to I-215 and W Dutch Draw South to 4700 S in Taylorsville. Parcel 2 situated in the East half of Section 4, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian. Located in Taylorsville City, County of Salt Lake, State of Utah. PARCEL 3 (three): The shopping center North of I-215 West and East of Redwood Road up 5400 S and the shopping center on the NW corner of Redwood Road and 5400 S in Taylorsville. Parcel 3 situated in section 15 and the southwest quarter of section 10, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian. Located in Taylorsville City, County of Salt Lake, State of Utah. The Public Hearing will be held October 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Element Events Center located at 5658 S Cougar Lane (4800 West), Kearns, Utah 84118. Resolution 2025-004 may be examined between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday - Friday until October 15, 2025 at the welcome desk of the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center located at 5624 S Cougar Ln, Kearns, Utah 84118 or online at https://oquirrhrec.gov/resolution2025-004 . Any person interested in presenting comments or other information for or against the resolution may: 1. Prior to the hearing, submit relevant comments and other information in writing to the board of trustees at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center located at 5624 S Cougar Ln, Kearns, Utah 84118; or via email to cjohnson@oquirrhrec.gov, or 2. At the hearing, present relevant comments and other information in writing and may also present comments and information orally.
