ALPINE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Alpine City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Alpine City Hall, 20 North Main Street, Alpine, Utah.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments regarding the following proposed code amendments:
- Potential rezone of 625 S Alpine Highway and 491 S Alpine Highway from the CR-40,000 Zone to the Business Commercial Zone.
- Potential rezone of 243 E Red Pine Drive and 242 E 100 South from the CR-20,000 Zone to the Business Commercial Zone and the Senior Housing Overlay Zone.
- Request to upgrade equipment for a wireless cell tower located at 694 Rocky Mountain Drive.
- Proposed code amendment to Section 3.07 - Business-Commercial Zone to remove single-unit detached dwellings as a permitted and conditional use, and to create an overlay zone for single-unit detached dwellings applicable only within the Business-Commercial Zone.
- Proposed code amendment to update the definition of 'produce stand' in Alpine Development Code Section 3.01.110 - Definitions.
- Proposed code amendment to sections 3.02.050, 3.03.050, 3.04.050,3.05.05003.06.040,3.07.050 to require additions to a main dwelling to share at least 50% of a common wall with the main building to be considered attached.
