JOHNSON WATER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT A RESOLUTION CANCELING DISTRICT ELECTION AND DECLARING RECORDED CANDIDATES ELECTED WHEREAS, Johnson Water Improvement District scheduled a General Election for November 4, 2025, to elect two (2) Trustees; and WHEREAS, There are two (2) recorded candidates for the two open position on the board of Trustees; and WHEREAS, Section 20A-1-206, Utah Code Annotated, specifically provides that the number of candidates for Precinct 1, and Trustee at Large, Special Service District, including any eligible write-in candidates under Section 20A-9-601, does not exceed the number of Trustees for the Special Service District for which the candidates have filed; and WHEREAS, also according to said Section 20A-1-206 the Special Service District legislative body passes, no later than 20 days before the day of the scheduled election, a resolution that cancels the election and certifies that each Special Service District officer candidate is unopposed or is considered to be elected to office. NOW THEREFORE, On the 18th day of September 2025 by resolution #25-1; the Board of Trustee cancels the regular election to be conducted on the 4th day of November 2025 by formal resolution and the Board of Trustee declare the following candidates elected for the follow terms of office: Daniel E Crozier 3717 S 5000 W, Roosevelt Utah Precinct 1 for 4-year term Paul Leroy Percival 3522 W Mortensen Ln, Roosevelt Utah Trustee at Large for 4-year term ATTEST: ___________________________ _________________________ Karen Ashby Clerk Daniel E Crozier, Chairman _________________________ James Smart, Vice Chairman _________________________ Dean Brough, Treasurer _________________________ Drew Eschler, Trustee _________________________ Tommy Henderson, Trustee
