- SANDY CITY ORDINANCE ADOPTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of Sandy, Utah, has adopted the following ordinances described below, on September 30, 2025: Ordinance 25-22: An Ordinance amending the Sandy City Municipal Code Title 21 'Land Development Code', Chapter 21-8 'Land Uses in the Commercial, Office, Industrial, Mixed Use, Transit Corridor, and Research and Development Districts' and Chapter 21-19 'Special Development (SD) Districts.' Ordinance 25-23: An Ordinance amending the Sandy City Municipal Code Title 15 'Business Licensing', Chapter 15-2 'Alcoholic Beverage Regulations'. Ordinance 25-24: Fortner Annexation: An Ordinance annexing parcels of a contiguous unincorporated area, totaling approximately 1.07 acres, for homes located a 8564 South 1000 East (two parcels) and 8590 South 1000 East, in Salt Lake County into the municipality of Sandy City; establishing zoning for the annexed property; also providing a severance and effective date for the annexation. I, Wendy Downs, certify that I am the City Recorder of Sandy City, Utah, and that the short summary of the foregoing ordinance was published on the Utah Public Notice Website, Sandy City Website, and at City Hall. All details of the adopted ordinance cannot be described in this summary.
