- CANCELLATION OF LOCAL ELECTION October 8, 2025 A resolution cancelling the November 4, 2025 Local Election for Bear River City, Box Elder County, Utah. WHEREAS, Utah State Code 20A-1-206 authorizes a municipal legislative body to cancel a local election; and WHEREAS, the number of municipal officer candidates for the November 4, 2025 election, including any eligible write-in candidates, does not exceed the number of municipal offices for which the candidates have filed; and WHEREAS, each municipal officer candidate is unopposed; and WHEREAS, there are no municipal ballot propositions; and WHEREAS, each municipal officer candidate is considered to be elected to office. NOW THEREFORE, the Bear River City Council certifies the above information to be true and correct; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the November 4, 2025 Local Election for Bear River City, Box Elder County, Utah is hereby cancelled. ADOPTED, APPROVED, and ORDERED by majority vote at a duly called and properly noticed meeting of the City Council of Bear River City, Utah this 10th day of September 2025. _________________________________ Megan Armstrong, Mayor ATTEST: ____________________________ Sue Ann Holmgren, Town Clerk
