Planning and Zoning Minutes
August 7, 2025, at 5:00 pm
The Panguitch Planning and Zoning meeting was held at the Panguitch City Office at 25 S 200 E. Those in attendance were City Manager Mat Houston, City Recorder Tyrissa Howell, Committee Chair Chad Veater, and committee members Jon Torgerson, Clarence Herron, Garrett Wolfley, and Tracy Wright.
Others in attendance were Paul Dastrup.
Ordinance 2025-4 Accessory Dwelling Unit
The Planning and Zoning Committee's revisions to the Accessory Dwelling Unit Ordinance included: Detached accessory dwelling units must not exceed 1,000 square feet. Stairways, landings, and balconies cannot infringe upon setback zones. The maximum height for accessory dwelling units will be 35 feet to match the existing code.
Clarence Herron moved, seconded by Garrett Wolfley, to recommend the Accessory Dwelling Unit Ordinance to the City Council for approval. The motion passed with all in favor.
