- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Duchesne City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 6:00 pm, at Duchesne City Administration Building, located at 500 East Main Street, to explain and take responsibility for the City's oversight to properly reauthorize the Recreation, Arts, and Parks (RAP) tax before continuing to collect it. During this hearing, the City will explain the circumstances surrounding the failure to properly reauthorize the RAP tax and formally accept responsibility for this oversight. Provide a transparent accounting of how all RAP tax funds collected during the unauthorized period were used in accordance with the tax's intended purposes. This public hearing is being held in accordance to ensure full transparency and accountability to the public. Dated this 6th day of October 2025.
