The Lindon City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 P.M. or as soon
thereafter as possible, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in the Lindon City Center, 100 North State
Street, Lindon, UT, to consider the following items:
A recommendation to amend the Lindon City Code to create the position of
Administrative Law Judge to serve as the Lindon City appeal Authority for certain land
use, floodplain, business licensing and other appeal matters. The ordinance amendment
will remove from the city code and dissolve the Lindon City Board of Adjustment as an
appeal authority. Clerical changes and updates will also be made to various sections
throughout the city code to modify the relevant statutory language reflecting the
establishment of an Administrative Law Judge in place of the Board of Adjustment.
All interested parties are invited to attend and present oral and/or written comment regarding this
petition. Interested parties are encouraged to provide written testimony prior to the meeting at
