7. Discussion with Kurtis Falslev about an improper subdivision of land which he owns. These parcels, 13-040-0040, and 13-040-0005, were improperly subdivided before he purchased the land at approximately 3000 W 5700 N from the Jorgenson Trust. The procedure for properly subdividing was explained to Mr. Falslev. He will need to combine both of these properties back into one piece. At that point he can file an Amalga Town Subdivision Application with the Planning Commission. Upon approval the Commission will issue Land Use Certificate of Approval. The applicant can then present this Certificate to the County Recorders Office and subdivide the property. It was also explained that until this process is complete no excavation, grading or regrading, or removal of vegetation can take place. Mr. Falslev said he would take care of this, and when the properties were back into one piece, he would notify the commission. Secretary Dave Lee said he would schedule him on the agenda for our next meeting.
8. Zoning Clearance Application from Sid Munk for two mobile homes to be used to house farm workers on two properties. One on parcel number 08-092-0003, and 08-092-0027. Section of the Amalga Town Code 8.1.2 was reviewed. Sid is leaving on a mission for 6 months and wanted to have the paperwork taken care of before he left.

Sid is also going to bring in some cargo containers (crates) to be used on the farm. This was also discussed.
9. The question of putting in a scale to weigh trucks at the Munk Farm was next. There seems to be a problem with where the property line is actually located. Planning and Zoning considers the scale to be a structure and therefore has to be located 30 feet from the property line as shown on the GIS for Cache Valley. Sid maintains that the property line is much closer to the road, and therefore the scale could be located closer to the road. Chairperson Nate Noyes is going to visit the County Recorder's office to see if we can get some clarification on this.
Planning and Zoning feel they need an official baseline to work from in order to provide continuity in making decisions across the Town.
