Join our Online Open House Open Houses are currently held electronically without an anchor location. ----- About Open Houses Online Open Houses are hosted by the Planning Division as an opportunity for constituents to stay informed, review projects, and provide comments and questions. To attend, visit the project page for each item below. Your input is valuable! ----- Public Comments and Questions We want to hear from you! Public comments and questions will be received within the public comment window. To submit a comment or question, contact the assigned planner via email or leave a voicemail. Your questions will be answered within a week after the comment window has ended. During and following this comment period, the Planning Division will evaluate the proposal against the applicable zoning standards, taking into consideration public comments as they relate to the standards, and develop a recommendation for the Planning Commission. ----- New Projects Open for Public Comment The list of new projects open for public comment is updated bi-weekly. ----- Ballpark NEXT Amendments at approximately 55 W Paxton, 77 W 1300 S, 1355 S West Temple, 1357 S West Temple, 1356 S Main St, 1381 S West Temple, 1395 S West Temple, and 1397 S West Temple The Mayor has initiated a petition for a zoning map and text amendment for city-owned property that includes the Ballpark (formerly Smith's Ballpark) at 1300 South and West Temple, along with the surrounding city-owned land. The intent of this amendment is to establish zoning regulations that align with the Ballpark NEXT Community Design Plan, which was completed by the Community Reinvestment Agency and adopted by the City Council. The Zoning Map Amendment would rezone eight parcels from PL (Public Lands) and RMF-35 (Moderate Density Residential Multi-Family) to MU-11 (Mixed Use 11) with a height allowance for buildings on the south side of 1300 South up to 150 feet, or a new, MU-15 (Mixed Use 15) zoning district. The alley runs north-south from Warnock Avenue to the I-80 right-of-way, located between two properties: 567 E Warnock Avenue (owned by the applicant) and 2435 S 600 E. The alley is approximately 16.5 feet wide and 80 feet long. If approved, the alley would be divided in half and allocated to the neighboring property owners.
