NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Providence City Code Amendment Providence City Citizens, Please take notice that the Providence City Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing to discuss a proposed addition to the City Code regarding mining and similar activities: PCC 10-9-8 Mining and Similar Activities. The purpose of this addition to the code is to allow for the use of certain natural resources in the city by regulating mining and similar activities within the city; to protect citizens and the environment from potential hazards or negative impacts that may result from these activities. For information about what changes are being added please contact the Providence City Offices at 164 N Gateway Dr, by phone at 435-752-9441 or visit providencecity.com. DATE: October 8th, 2025 TIME: 6:00 PM LOCATION: 164 N GATEWAY DR. The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for anyone interested to comment before any action is taken.
