On September 23, 2025, the Morgan City Council adopted Resolution 25-24
canceling the Morgan City November 7,
2025, Municipal Election and certifying the
following:
There are three (3) qualifying candidates for three available council seats.
Each municipal officer is unopposed.
There are no municipal ballot propositions.
- The following candidates are considered to be elected to office January 2026:
o Stephen V Gale - 4 year Mayor term
o Jeffery Max Richins - 4 year Council Member term o Laurann Turner McGuire - 4
year Council Member term
